West Coast Oyster Shucker
Designed in collaboration with oyster pro Jess Taylor, owner of the Wandering Mollusk Catering Co., this hand-forged oyster shucker is weighted and shaped for the small, delicate oysters of the pacific northwest.
The handles are locally turned from laburnum, a dense and durable hardwood, finished with a brass bolster and paua shell inlay.
An heirloom-quality tool that's made to stand up to frequent use, and last long enough to be passed on one day.
This piece is handmade by Ryan Fogarty of Leechtown Blacksmith Company.
