1). Daybreak: with clean, dry hands, scoop a dime sized amount from the jar, return the lid, and massage onto dry skin (face and neck) in gentle, circular motions. Rinse off. This can be used 1-2 times each week to encourage cell turnover and slough away dead cells while lifting excess dirt and oil from the skin. 2). Moon Water: (after cleansing) apply a thin layer to freshly cleansed, towel dried face and neck and allow to rest on the skin for 5-10 minutes. Wipe away with a warm, clean, damp wash cloth and pat skin dry. This can be used 1-3 times each week for dryer skin types to hydrate, tighten, and tone the skin. 3). Coastal Roses: Holding the bottle about 6 inches away from your face, mist 3-5 times over entire face and neck and allow to fully absorb. Can be used daily, day and night and layered with Flower Child and Dandelion Cream. 4). Flower Child: Apply 2-3 pumps to face and neck and gently massage into skin in a circular motion until fully absorbed. Can be used daily, day and night and layered with Coastal Roses and Dandelion Cream. 5). Dandelion: Apply a pea sized amount of cream over your face and neck and massage into skin until fully absorbed. Can be used daily, day and night and layered with Coastal Roses and and Flower Child.

  • Care Instructions

Always begin with a spot test to check sensitivity to new products.

  • Additional Details

The West Coast has a significant influence on Forest Etiquette with about 80% of the whole plants that Kristen uses in her products either locally grown and harvested or wildcrafted on Vancouver Island.

  • How To Use

Always begin by cleansing your face and neck before applying other products. After cleansing, apply products from most water based to most oil based. Exfoliation is amazing but limit it to 1-2 times each week. It’s highly recommended to do a 24-hour skin patch test to explore any potential skin sensitivities to a new skin product first.

The Materials

The Maker

Meet Kristen Lambourne, founder of Forest Etiquette. She started her business in 2019 on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The self-care items she creates combine traditional herbalism with natural actives, making hero products with the best of both plant magic and science power. Each item is hand-crafted by Kristen, using natural, organic, and wildcrafted ingredients. Kristen grew up on a farm surrounded by greenery and animals and developed a love of gardening and nutrition. Those passions grew into a dedication to wildcrafting, plants, and herbalism. For those who are new to the term, wildcrafting is an alternative word for foraging. It felt like a natural progression to move toward creating skin and self-care products.
