Crafted on the coast of British Columbia, each carving by Bjorn Banke is a one-of-a-kind piece shaped from old-growth Red Cedar, Big Leaf Maple or Cherry Wood. Our collection includes both wall hangings and freestanding works, each reflecting Bjorn’s deep connection to the wood, the land, and the ocean that have shaped his life and craft.

About Bjorn Banke
Bjorn grew up carving in his father’s workshop on a remote island off Tofino—without running water or electricity, but surrounded by creativity. By age five he was carving with his grandfather’s tools, guided by a lineage of talented carvers, including his father, grandfather, and uncle Chris. This generational knowledge, paired with a lifetime spent immersed in the coastal wilderness, informs every piece he creates.
