Cast in bronze using the ancient lost wax method, this limited edition octopus sculpture captures the fluid intelligence of one of the BC coast's most captivating creatures. The Giant Pacific Octopus inhabits the waters in and around Nimmo Bay, and Paul Harder's deep admiration for the species comes through in every curve and texture of the piece. Available in a limited run, each sculpture is a reminder of the wild that surrounds the resort.
The sculpture measures 7 inches at its longest point and 2 inches from base to top of head. Choose how to display this deeply detailed piece. It can be displayed flat on a desk or as a table centrepiece, or it can be hung on the wall.

About Paul Harder
Paul Harder is a biologist and celebrated bronze sculptor based on Vancouver Island. Each piece he creates is driven by a deep attention to natural texture and movement, bringing his subjects to life with remarkable precision and care. Paul has been a longtime collaborator with Nimmo Bay. Guests exploring the resort will find several of his full-size animal sculptures throughout the property. Over the years, many have carried a piece of his work home with them, as a lasting connection to their time on the BC coast.
