The Modern Melton is one of those pieces that has become part of life at Nimmo Bay. When we were looking for hard-wearing, natural-fibre layers that could stand up to the changing weather on the coast, we found ANIÁN.
Made in Vancouver from 80% post-consumer recycled wool, the Modern Melton is warm, naturally insulating and remarkably weather resistant. The dense felted wool helps keep out wind and light rain, while remaining breathable enough to wear through changing temperatures.
The tailored shape makes it easy to wear as a substantial shirt or lightweight jacket, layered over a tee or sweater when the weather turns.

Made from recycled wool
The Modern Melton is made from 80% post-consumer recycled wool, salvaged from wool garments that have reached the end of their original life. ANIÁN uses a dye-free recycling process to turn these fibres into new cloth, giving them another life as a durable, long-wearing layer.
Wool is naturally antimicrobial and resistant to staining, so this is a piece that doesn't need frequent washing. The less you wash it, the longer the wool and the garment will last.
A little about the fit
The Men's Modern Melton has a tailored, moderately slim silhouette. It works well worn as a substantial shirt or as a lightweight jacket over a tee or lighter layer.
For a roomier fit or if you plan to layer underneath, we recommend sizing up.

Care Instructions
Wash in cold water and hang to dry. Wool is naturally antimicrobial and anti-staining. Wash as little as possible to reduce your environmental impact and extend the lifetime of your garment.
