Today, each bag is handcrafted in Canada by founder Soleil Mannion. A Canadian artist and designer with deep ties to Argentina. Soleil sources her leather from the same small-scale Argentine tanneries that inspired the brand from the beginning. These tanneries use vegetable tanning—an eco-friendly, time-honoured process that results in rich, beautiful leather without toxic chemicals. The leather is durable, biodegradable, and develops a unique patina with time and wear.
